Green Power & Pear Smoothie

Looking for a rich and creamy yet healthy smoothie to give you an energy boost? This could be perfect for you!!

~ Vegan & Gluten-Free ~

Pear smoothie recipe

Ingredients:

1 Pear, washed

2cm cube Fresh Ginger, peeled

1/4 cup Hemp heart or hemp seeds

3 Dates

1 cup Spinach or dandelion leaves, washed

1 Celery stick, washed

1 1/4 cup Almond or coconut milk

Add all ingredients into a high powered blender and blend on high for about 3-5 minutes. Consistency should be smooth and creamy!

Prep & make time:

Prep time: 5 minutes

Blender time: 2-3 minutes

Total time: 7-8 minutes

Makes about 1 18oz portion

This beautiful fruit is loaded with water-soluble dietary fibre, including pectin, which has been show to help lower cholesterol and help tone and soothe the intestines. This amazing fruit is also a good source of vitamin C, vitamin B2, vitamin E potassium and copper.
