I love matcha and I love creamy smoothies! This is a lovely fresh, light yet creamy smoothie that is perfect for breakfast, a light lunch or mid day snack!

Ingredients:
1/2 organic pear, washed with core removed
2 organic kale leaves, washed
4 organic dates, pitted
1 cup water or 1/2 cup water and 3 ice cubes
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk or other non-dairy milk beverage
2 tbsp hemp seeds
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
4 basil leaves (or mint leaves if you prefer)
1 tsp matcha powder
Makes about 1 18oz smoothie
Blend all ingredients in a blender on high until smooth. Enjoy immediately or store in fridge for up to 4 hours.
