Maple syrup
Maple syrup is an excellent alternative to white sugar or corn syrup. Pure maple syrup from the maple tree is actually very high in health promoting antioxidants and also contains zinc, manganese, potassium and calcium. As this naturally delicious sweet syrup is still a form of sugar and should be consumed in small amounts and in moderation.
