Ingredients:
1/3 cup popcorn kernels
1-2 tsp nutritional yeast
2-3 fresh large basil leaves
2 tbsp olive oil
pinch himalayan salt
dash freshly ground pepper
Using an hot air popcorn machine, pop the popcorn kernels into a large bowl. Finely chop basil leaves. Sprinkle olive oil over popcorn and mix to evenly coat popcorn. Sprinkle nutritional yeast and chopped fresh basil on popcorn and mix in well to evenly distribute. Sprinkle salt and pepper on popcorn to taste, mixing well to combine. Enjoy!!

Nutritional Yeast
Nutritional yeast is a deactivate form of regular yeast. It contains all essential amino acids so is an excellent as well as dense protein source. About 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast contains 9 grams of protein! Vitamins B1 and B2 are found in large amounts. Vitamin B12 is only present if the nutritional yeast has been fortified as it is not a naturally occurring nutrient, which is a common misconception.
