Craving french fries? Try these ultimate potato wedges as a super tasty and healthy alternative!!
~ Vegan & Gluten-Free ~
Ingredients:
3-4 large Russet potatoes, sliced into wedges
1/4 cup avocado oil or grape seed oil
1 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp ground Himalayan sea salt
1-2 tbsp Italian herbs mix (dried oregano, parsley, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, sage, basil)
1 green onion, chopped (optional)
Slice washed, raw and unpeeled potatoes. Place in large mixing bowel. Add oil, herbs, salt and pepper. Mix until evenly coated. Add more oil if needed to coat all wedges evenly.
Bake at 400F for about 30 minutes.
Broil on high for a few minutes to crisp (watch carefully not to burn!).
Garnish with green onions if desired. Makes an excellent side dish or snack!
