Get the most power out of whole grains and try this ultimate vegan cold breakfast porridge!!

Ingredients:
Porridge:
1/4 cup barley flakes
1/4 cup rye flakes
1 tbsp buckwheat grouts
2 tbsp chia seed
1/4 cup organic almond milk, coconut milk or soy milk
3/4 cup filtered water
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Topping suggestions:
1/4 cup blueberries (or other fruit/berries)
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp sliced almonds
2 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp dried cranberries
1 tbsp almond butter or another nut butter
Mix all porridge ingredients together in a bowl until well combined and let sit for 1-2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Add desired toppings, mix well and enjoy.
Makes about 2 servings of porridge
Prep & rest time:
Prep time ~ 10 minutes
Rest time ~ 2 hours - (12 hours if letting sit overnight)
Total time ~ 2hrs 10 minutes (or 14 hrs 10 minutes of resting over night)
