Calcium Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite is an extract of whole bone that contains calcium and phosphorus. Calcium and phosphorus help in the development and maintenance of bones and teeth. In randomized control clinical trials, supplementation with calcium microcrystalline hydroxyapatite has shown to increase the reconstruction of bone while decreasing the amount of bone loss. Calcium microcrystalline hydroxyapatite has less affect on serum calcium levels compared to other forms of calcium supplements.
